About Alyria

Meet Alyria

Hi, I’m Alyria (they/them), a Reiki Master and sound practitioner based on the unceded territory of the Lək̓ʷəŋən and WSÁNEĆ peoples, in what is now known as Victoria, BC.

My work is rooted in presence and deep listening.

I create spaces where you can reconnect with yourself in a more direct and honest way.

Through sound, Reiki, and subtle awareness, I support your system in settling and responding in its own time, without trying to fix or change anything.

I don’t see this work as something being “done” to you.

You are not something to be fixed.

My role is to hold a clear, supportive field where your own awareness and inner guidance can come forward more naturally.

Each session is shaped by what is present, rather than following a fixed structure.

My relationship with this work began during a time of deep personal transition.

After leaving a difficult relationship while caring for my young son, I was introduced to Reiki.

I completed my Reiki training between 2014–2016, and not long after, experienced my first sound bath, which opened the door into working with sound.

Since 2017, I’ve been working closely with crystal singing bowls and other vibrational instruments, developing a practice that blends structure with intuition, and technique with presence.

Outside of this work, I move through many roles, parent, partner, artist, musician, and ongoing student of life.

My days are not polished. They are full, layered, and human.

Music, creativity, and time in nature continue to anchor me.

My instruments remain close companions, not just tools, but ongoing teachers in listening, rhythm, and attention.

I work with people across identities, experiences, and stages of life.

What matters most here is that you are met with respect, care, and space to be as you are.

If you are ready to explore this work more directly:

I acknowledge and offer respect to the traditional territories of the WSÁNEĆ (Saanich), Lək̓ʷəŋən (Lekwungen) Peoples, known as the Esquimalt and Songhees First Nations, part of the Coast Salish Territory, upon which we live, learn, and practice here in Victoria, BC.
